Languran, GT hard to find other then platform or structure reefs, maybe u can try big eye jack at shipwreck at night but need light attraction, why not try small jacket make sure don't get too close. Why Latif friend Oman trip landed 40kg GT with elcheapo rod the next trip he buy SMITH WRC? tell me why, because they realised sensible rod can land fish but takes longer times and more stress, WITHOUT mama experience you never know the advantage of high end just like the barking guy will never improve cos he never face mama, only know how to catch pisang pisang. A good rod need cooperation from a good skipper as well, or else the % of landing mama 50/50 only, agree? |
