It's a good punishment to them, i just 1 2 say no proper equipment, guide and experience don't simply go ulu area.

You'll need special order tyre and skill to control your car, i've been to Miri deep jungle twice (deliver water, food, parang and parts to camp) the only thing i learn from them was never brake when going down muddy hill or muddy rod, just used gear to control. Never "on" aircond inorder to hear trailer coming or not when up hill, they will never brake when load with logs going downhills.

On Sunday, a group of anglers went deep into the interior to fish along the Tutong river. Quite a few number of 4WD group have made the journey in the recently.
This time it was Richie and gang. They went in 2 4WD. They had to go past many mud holes along the way but they managed to go passed each time. It was only after that they passed Rumah Panjang Supon that the first car got stucked. The second car tried to pull it out but failed.

So they gave up and tried to go back to get help on that remaining 4WD. Unfortunately, it too got stucked. They had to stay the night at the long house.
The next day, a few of them got out with the help of the friendly long house folks on their longboat. It was only late in the afternoon that they got all the equipment to pull out the two cars. They managed to pull out one of the cars but the 4WD deeper in would have to wait.
As it got dark and there are no street lights in the jungle, they decided to spent another night at the long house.
They got up early the next morning and managed to free the 4WD and finally make their way back to civilisation.
The sad news is that they never had a chance to fish.
