haha, it did! Chong and me brought adrian to try at tg bunut and went to the deep water near C. Ho's place. No bite, so at 4 had tea below my office n brought him over to muara rocks. The alun was so and so but the quick high tide that was taking place made the rocks dangerous so was a short trip. Went to serasa to do some casting, fishes was around playing at the surface but wasnt taking any lures. Even discovered a couple of dolphins there and realise sumone baca baca our trip.. Resulting karate! Hahaha! Stopped at 9 and dcide to bring adrian have dinner. Then i realise another baca baca works.. The heavy rain! Hahaha! At nearly 11, sent chong and adrian home. Even chong said first time 7 hr fishing with no result at all, which prove the curse to work. Hehehe! Overall, was our pleasure to bring adrian back to his home town in brunei to try our local lure casting ground. Btw, gong xii fatt choi! Whens your open house?

Indonesia? A bit too far to go on a day trip.Unless you get Lures to charter a helicopter for us.Haha.

It is just across the Brunei Bay. Not far. River have deep banks with mangrove. Just nice for casting. Use to have lots of Unga but don't know current condition because I have not been there for over 10 years!
It would be not be an exploratory trip but a rediscovery trip.

sorry, just saw your sms. Was asleep this afternoon as i had to wake up early to watch over guys who are cleaning the house for cny. Yes, we walk from muara beach. The walk will take 30mins to get to the rocks. Would have taken a boat if there was an alternative to do so

That must be a long walk. Did you start from the Muara beach area?

Why not use boat?

Last night went with chong, edmond, alan and scot to the muara rocks at the end of the beach. We parked our cars at the beach and walk all the way to the rocks. Sea condition wasnt that bad with low alun. Started to cast poppers ranging frm 20 to 30gms outwards to the sea and the first to land the catch was chong with a barracuda around 3 to 4kg. More then an hour after that, edmond strike a barracuda more than 6kg. Scot and alan had some miss strikes. I didnt manage any strikes as i find very limited space to cast from at the end of the rocks. We left the place half an hour to midnight as the tide went low and the water turn murky. We walk all the way back to the beach and headed home
